Traditional review methods like long email chains, timecode guesswork, and scattered notes often slow things down. To keep things moving smoothly, we now use Dropbox Replay– a simple, powerful tool that lets you review videos with precision and clarity.

Why We’re Using Dropbox Replay

Dropbox Replay helps us deliver better results, faster. It makes feedback visual, direct, and easy to track.

With Replay, you can:

  • Watch your work-in-progress video in your browser. No software or downloads needed

  • Comment on the exact frames of the video

  • Highlight areas for edit or discussion

  • Approve the final version with full confidence

Review Process 2

How the Review Process Works

  1. You’ll Receive a Unique Link
     We’ll send you a private Dropbox Replay link via email (or within AVAir- see below).
  2. Watch + Comment
     Play the video in your browser. Pause at any moment and leave a comment– Replay captures the exact timestamp.
  3. We Get Instantly Notified
     Our team sees your notes in real time. We’ll use them to revise and upload the next version.
  4. Review Updated Versions
     Each new version is stored in the same link, labeled clearly as V1, V2, V3, etc.

Final Approval
 When you’re happy, click “Approved” to lock the version. We’ll then prepare for the final delivery.

Integrated Into AVAir (For Clients Using AVAir)

We’ve taken it further– Dropbox Replay is now directly embedded in AVAir, our secure cloud-based workflow platform.

Here’s how that works:

  • Log in to your AVAir dashboard.
  • Click the Review link in the header of your project.
  • Replay opens in AVAir- all feedback stays linked to your project and team.
  • No toggling between platforms. Everything’s in one place.

Pro Tips for a Smooth Review

  • Use short, specific comments (e.g., “Increase brightness here” or “Cut this line”).
  • Try tags like Approved, Needs Revision, or emojis for clarity.
  • Stay consistent by replying to your comments if there’s a follow-up.
  • You can add collaborators to your Replay if needed- ask us to set that up.

  • A button to approve or mark as needing changes
